Pearl is a 7 month old lab/springer cross. I got her from some people who had more dogs than money. She's horribly underweight- all her ribs, hip bones and spine are visible, she was wormy, and she had ear mites when I got her. She's completely untrained and not well-socialized (kinda like me), but she is the sweetest, cuddliest puppy ever. She is so happy to have her own person she won't let me out of her sight. The first night I had her she slept on top of me almost all night. Now she's content to just have her chin on me.
I just need to fatten her up and get her trained. This morning I was sitting at my desk, holding my toast with one hand when I heard a loud scarfing sound and saw a black and white blur out of the corner of my eye. I looked down to see Pearl sitting next to me with half my paper napkin in her mouth. She missed my toast, but managed to hack a gooey blob of dog food onto it...

WHO DID THIS??? Who fucking could do this? This simultaneously infuriates and saddens me. I've been looking online at Petfinder for a dog and I found this sweet boy. Look at that face. Who could abandon a good old dog like this at a shelter? Sometimes I hate people.

Hobo is a super sweet guy. He is very loving and social and will make a great companion. He has had some training and knows his commands very well. Hobo has been exposed to other dogs and seems to do very well with them. Ask to meet this great guy today.
